    looks like joe's short film, "the seed" is getting some love from the fans on iTunes...he's currently moving between #2 and #3 on the "top short films" list. let's make it #1! to purchase it, go to the iTunes main page, then click on movies (upper left). you'll find "the seed" listed as "Short Films" (not joe hahn).

    lots to mention

    many things to mention...

    firstly, chester (and i, although less than him) got sick and we had to cancel two shows. it was a a real bummer for us, we hate to have that happen. thanks for your "get well" wishes, we're feeling better now. still a little scratchy on the voice, and coughing a ton, but we can play shows.

    next, the iTunes SoHo performance. in case you haven't heard, we played a secret show at the SoHo apple store in NY. it was awesome...the tracks are now available for purchase on iTunes. go check them out!

    ...and lastly, we played staples center here in LA tonight. we hadn't played here before, but it was dope. i'm not a huge sports fan by any means, but if there's one sport i would put above all others, it's basketball; and if there's one team i would put up top, it's the lakers. check out what the staples center peeps gave us as a "thank you" for playing tonight. to quote my man bobby d..."so official."

    lastly, and not least...check out the widget at the bottom of this page. if you want one on your page, go to linkinpark.com and get one. on the widget, we're premiering the BRAND NEW VIDEO for our latest single from "minutes to midnight"...GIVEN UP. the story behind it was that we had gotten all these video treatments by well-known, expensive directors, and they all felt a little off-the-mark. the song feels real punk rock to us, so we decided to go with a more do-it-yourself kind of approach. this was put together by our friend mark fiore, who has basically never directed a video before. we gave a him a few ideas about how we thought it should look, and he took those and ran with them...and did an incredible job. enjoy!
